I bought it for the gauges. Seriously. Doug was off looking at the SUVs, and I wandered over to the 9-3. Got in, sat down, looked at the gauges and thought, "this car is beautiful."

I now understand why middle-aged men buy sports cars. It's not about scoring points with the young cuties -- although it might be, for some people -- it's about driving something that makes you smile everytime you hear that vrrooomm.
It's about buying something that pleases you -- and you alone. Not because it's practical, sensible, you can fit the car seat, or your mother can handle it. It's about being at a point in your life where you think, what do I need, really? What do I like when I don't have to take all these other considerations into account? How do I want to spend the rest of my life? What makes me happy?
